Established in 1993 as a distributor, specialising in Australian jazz music, Newmarket Music has since expanded into a renowned Australian record company now covering a range of genres including roots, blues, country, folk, world music and of course some of Australia's finest jazz.

Eighteen years on and Newmarket Music is home to award winning indie, folk and country artists such as Megan Washington, The Eastern, Sean Foran and Hayward Williams, not to mention some of the biggest names in jazz, including Graeme Bell A.O. M.B.E (Australian Jazz 'Bell' Awards), ARIA and APRA award-winning artists Allan Browne and Joe Chindamo, The Syncopators and Andy Vance.
