Newmarket Music is proud to announce the forthcoming release of Pangaea from Queensland’s accomplished lady of jazz herself, Ingrid James. Ingrid’s sixth release to date draws upon worldly influences from South and Central America, jazz, bluegrass, folk and popular music.

Pangeae brings us a collection of wonderfully exectued covers spanning the musically diverse decades that were the 1970’s and 80’s. It is far from a nostalgic, sound-alike trip down memory lane though; instead we are delighted with a collection of musically astute arrangements from Trumpeter Paul Armstrong (Austin) and multi-instrumentalist Todd Harrison (Houstin)
